KI 7800 LED & Laser Light Sources

The KI 7800 Series combined LED & Laser sources are general purpose instruments used for measuring mixed multimode and single mode systems. Typical applications include attenuation measurement, and fiber identification. The LED emitters have an economical built-in mode controller, which greatly improves measurement consistency compared to conventional LED sources.

• Single mode 1310, 1550 nm laser options
• Multimode 850, 1300 nm LED options with improved repeatability and standards compliance
• Supplied with mandrel wraps for 50 and 62.5 u core fiber
