What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?
Kingfisher may use your name, address, and e-mail address to send you information about other products/services we think might interest you and to fullfill and ship any products that you may order from us. Kingfisher does not share your e-mail address. Your email address is stored securely and does not leave the premesis. Kingfisher may perform quantative research on our users' demographics, interests, and behaviour based on the information provided to us upon registration, during a promotion, or from our server log files. We do this to better understand and serve our users. This research is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis. Kingfisher International does not sell or give away any customer information to any other entity or person. All staff are expected to preserve the confidentiality of information. If you wish to stop recieving informational material at any time, an opt-out option will always be available.
What About Internet Provider (IP) Addresses and Cookies?
We do log IP addresses, but we do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information other than the resolution of the IP address. This means that, while a user's session is tracked, the identity of that user remains virtually anonymous. We also use these IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We track users as statistics and groups. Your individual usage is lost in a swarm of usage data. Cookies may be used for similar reasons. Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your computer's hard drive that allow us to monitor what sort of content on our website you find most interesting. Your Privacy and security are not compromised when you accept a cookie from Kingfisher.com.au because we do not use cookies to collect personal information. The data you provide by surfing through our site enables us to structure our site based around common surfing habits. This enables us to provide users with better experiences.

e-Commerce Security
We take precautions to protect its users personal information. We use industry-standard on-line security measures, such as encryption and authentication, to protect your credit card information. Please note, however, that no transmission over the Internet can be 100% secure. kingfisher.com.au also works to protect user information offline. All of your information is housed in secure, access-restricted areas. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific function are granted access to personally identifiable information.
Please note: Kingfisher does not currently have an active ecommerce facility.
